Speaker's Profile: Pastor Samuel Tatikonda
Samuel Tatikonda is journalist-turned pastor who worked with Deccan Chronicle for over 25 years and gave his life to Jesus and later surrendered to do full-time ministry. He worked for Hindustan Times and brought out local English magazines. He now freelance for some Delhi-based English News Weekly magazines.
Pastor Samuel Tatikonda established Burn and Shine Worship Center (BSWC) in 2010, with a passion for reaching out to this lost gentile world with the truth, love and compassion of Jesus Christ. BSWC's prime concern is to see people coming to the saving grace of Jesus.
Few thoughts from Pastor Samuel Tatikonda and his ministry through BSWC:
GOD DESIRES TO GIVE THE WORLD A VERY SPECIAL MESSAGE THROUGH YOUR LIFE
The Bible says, “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace, to reveal His son (Jesus) in me that I might preach Him among the heathen....Galatians l:15,16.
Revealing His son Jesus in our lives, to this heathen world is of prime concern to our Creator. This is where we find God’s agony, His heart is grieved and wearied. The Bible goes on to say, “For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written” Romans 2:24. “Yes, come what may, God wants His son to be revealed in us to this world.
These two verses have touched my heart. How awful and shameful would it be to see our Creator being put to shame by our deeds? My deepest desire, through BSWC, is to raise a people who seek to only glorify Jesus Christ, who don’t receive honor from men, whose hearts are pure in motives, who yearn to do the Father’s will and who give birth to the things of the Spirit.
Salvation to the lost mankind, is the heart beat of BSWC. And we don’t mind going an extra mile to win a soul for Jesus. Showing Jesus through deeds will go a long way in impacting the lives of individuals.
This great commission of winning the lost is still in effect today. Christ’s command has not changed, neither His plan of redemption to expand His Kingdom. His desire to reach the world with His love and compassion is still the same, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Thanks and God bless you!
